Multiple uses but we see this as a decorative lovely old rattle, this could have been used in a number of jobs. They were used as a warning tool before they became known as rattles for football so could have been in a factory or something like that. This is quite a nice untouched example of this and looking at the design I would say it’s dates from the turn of the century.
Generally in good condition with some wear and tear so please study the photos for a better description.
The item has small traces of time giving it authenticity and character.
