Lovely very old wooden mallet in vintage condition, meaning it has wear and tear . There is a split in the handle , this isn’t falling apart but if you were going to use it ( which would be shame) it would need gluing or even strapping. It has what looks like woodworm flight holes but these aren’t deep at all so I’m thinking it has been used for tapping in something and are not woodworm holes . It has been treated nonetheless.
It has lovely wear to it and really shows it’s age , great display item.
