Large Owl Ornament, Very Heavy, Resin???

Really lovely looking figure , I am unsure of what material it is made from . I am thinking a type of resin but it probably good quality as it weighs quite a bit . There is a chip on the base which I have taken the best photo I can of , and under a loupe it looks like resin. The chip doesn’t really ruin the look of the ornament. It is about 8.5 inches high and the rest of it is in good condition.
