Fabulous item and quite rare . This is untested and being sold as such . In other words being sold for decorative purposes only. It has been polished but could do with a deeper polish. Good plate company. Think it probably dates somewhere around the Edwardian period. It has a ding to the main body but nothing serious as shown in photos, and the top of the burner has a ding and this shouldn’t effect the function in the slightest should you be brave enough to ignite it .
